Target audience and relevance

 

All persons whose work related activities involve the management and control of
occupational health, safety, environment and quality (SHEQ) issues.

In particular, this course has relevance for all persons who need to manage work operations governed by permits, as part of their management and control of SHEQ issues. 

 

 

Learning outcomes and objectives

Main Outcome:

At the completion of this course, participants will have a fundamental understanding of the issues and processes in permit to work systems.

  • Roles and responsibilities required for managing permit to work
  • Issues pertinent to preparation of work
  • Issues and process pertinent to maintaining work permits during work operations.

Course entry requirements

  • Matric; OR
  • Completed trade; OR
  • 23 yrs + 5 year’s work-related experience.
