The purpose of this course is to provide you with an overview of the basic safety and health principles related to materials handling and storage.

All persons whose work-related activities involve the management and control of occupational health and safety issues.

The aim of this module is to provide you with the necessary information and activities to enable you to:Â Â

1. Comprehending management’s responsibilities in the workplace.
2. Comprehending the employee’s responsibilities and duties in the workplace.
3. Reviewing the safety considerations for the employee regarding stacking and storage.
4. Reviewing the safety considerations for the employer regarding stacking and storage.
5. Interpreting the safe operation of industrial trucks.
6. Interpreting the basic safety and health principles related to materials handling and storage.
